STOP PRESS - Year 10 Geographers Caught Working!!!

Thank you to Miss Dorban for this brilliant contribution . . . Have a look, and see who you can spot!

London Olympics Fieldtrip

Thank you to all our Year 10 Geographers for a very pleasurable trip to the Olympics Site last Thursday. Despite, the cold, wet and windy weather you behaved brilliantly and produced some excellent work.

We hope you enjoyed the opportunity to see first hand, the actual changes that are happening in 'Our Place', and to experience 'real' geography in the field.

Over the next few lessons we will be following up the work from the trip by looking at the benefits and problems associated with the changes that the Olympics will bring to 'Our Place', and evaluate the impact it will have on different groups of people.

Your Geography teacher will be giving you an Olympics Fieldwork Booklet to work through.

The booklet contains some example exam style questions that will be useful to practice in order to develop your exam technique. Please complete this work to the best of your ability, and ensure you maintain your high standards for the rest of the term.

Thank you for your continued hard work . . .

Miss Chadwick
