Haverstock go to Overstrand
At the end of June 8 lucky Year 10's joined Miss Chadwick and Miss Scott at Overstrand in Norfolk for four days. They had the opportunity to learn about coastal management along the North Norfolk Coast, investigate how rivers change and see the impact tourism has had on the area. I am sure they will all agree that they learnt far more by visiting the area rather than being in the classroom.

Similarities and Differences- The Swahili Coast- Tanzania

You have now started to look at your comparison region- The Swahili Coast in Tanzania. Throughout this unit you will need to compare the region to 'Your Place - Camden'. It is important that you look through the websites which we have suggested for you- Miss Chadwick will post them this week. Your first piece of coursework will also be based on the region and you will be asked to consider the impact tourism has had on the region.

2. Know why the region is at it is today
3. Identify the culture of the region
4. Know the links between the region and other countries, especially UK
5. Understand how and why the region is changing and what it might be like in the future.
